Fruit of the Spirit

The Apostle Paul writes a heart-warming letter to his friends. He reminds them that Jesus has set us free, but our freedom is best used to love and help one another. He warns them that when we live for ourselves, ugly 'troublemakers' grow in our hearts—anger, jealousy, fighting—but when we follow the Holy Spirit, a beautiful fruit tree grows inside us. Its nine bright fruits are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As we walk with the Spirit, the garden of our hearts becomes the most beautiful place in the world.
