The glorious King rides a donkey into the city

When Jesus arrived at Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples to the village opposite, saying, “Go into the village opposite, and you will see a donkey tied there. Untie it and bring it. If anyone asks, say, ‘The Lord needs it.’ And he will immediately let them take it.” The disciples placed their cloaks on the donkey, helped Jesus onto it. The crowd spread their cloaks and branches on the road, and the people shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
