The Miracle on the Road from Jericho

As Jesus left Jericho, two blind men sitting by the road heard that he was passing by. They cried out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they cried out even more. Jesus stopped and asked what they wanted. They asked to receive their sight. Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; immediately they could see, and they followed him.
