Peter Heals the Sick and Raises the Dead in Lydda and Joppa

Peter traveled about visiting believers and came to Lydda, where he met Aeneas, who had been paralyzed for eight years. In the name of Jesus Christ, Peter healed him. The news spread, and the people of Lydda and Sharon turned to the Lord. Peter then went to the coastal city of Joppa, where a kind believer named Tabitha had died. Peter knelt and prayed, then said, “Tabitha, get up!” She came back to life. The miracle spread throughout Joppa and many believed in the Lord.
