In the evening Jesus and the disciples got up and crossed the Sea of Galilee. Suddenly a strong wind arose, and waves swept into the boat, while Jesus was lying on a pillow, fast asleep. The disciples woke him up and cried out, “Lord, save us!” Jesus rose, rebuked the wind and the waves, and the sea became calm.
The disciples were terrified in the fierce wind and huge waves, but with one word from Jesus everything was calmed. When the Lord is with you, you need not fear; He is the source of peace in the storms of life.
