The Wedding Banquet the King Prepared for His Son

Jesus told a parable about a wedding banquet. A king prepared a feast for his son and sent servants to call the invited guests, but many refused and cared only about their own business. Later, the king told the servants to go to the roads and invite everyone they found, so the banquet hall was filled with guests. But one person had no wedding clothes, showing that he had not answered the invitation with reverence and a true heart. Jesus taught that God’s gracious invitation is open, and we must treasure his call and prepare our hearts to respond.
