The Last Supper

Before the Passover, Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart from this world and return to the Father. So he got up from the meal, removed his outer garment, and tied a towel around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet. Simon Peter said, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Jesus replied, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” After he had washed their feet, Jesus said, “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done to you.”
