After the Midianites fled, Gideon and his three hundred men kept pursuing the two Midianite kings. They were tired and hungry, and they asked Succoth and Penuel for food, but the people refused to help. Gideon did not give up his mission; he kept trusting God and moving forward. Later, he caught up with the two kings and stopped them from causing more trouble for the people. On the way home, he reminded those who had refused to help to learn kindness toward the weary. When the Ephraimites were angry about missing the battle, Gideon praised their contribution with gentle words and calmed the dispute. At the end, Gideon gave the help and victory to God, reminding everyone that true strength comes from God.
