God appointed Moses as a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron as Moses' prophet. Moses and Aaron came before Pharaoh, and Aaron threw his staff before Pharaoh, and it turned into a snake. The Egyptian sorcerers also did the same, but Aaron's staff swallowed their staffs. Yet Pharaoh's heart remained hardened and refused to listen.
