Jesus Walks on the Water

Jesus sent the disciples ahead across the lake while He went up the mountain to pray. At night, strong wind and waves frightened the disciples. Then they saw Jesus walking toward them on the water. Jesus said, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.” Peter walked toward Jesus by faith, but when he looked at the wind, he began to sink. Jesus immediately reached out and saved him. When the wind stopped, the disciples worshiped Jesus and confessed that He truly is the Son of God.
