Moses Pleads with Pharaoh for Release

Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh in God's name, requesting that the Israelites be allowed to go into the wilderness to worship God. Pharaoh arrogantly refused, and not only did he not let them go, but he ordered that straw no longer be given to the Israelites for making bricks, yet the required number of bricks remained unchanged. The Israelites' situation became even more difficult.
