The Rainbow Covenant

After the rain stopped, Noah sent out a dove and saw a green leaf, knowing the earth was beginning to grow again. When the waters went down, Noah and the animals came out of the ark, and Noah thanked God. God told Noah that the world would be full of life again and set the rainbow in the sky as the sign of His covenant, promising never again to destroy life on earth with a flood. Whenever the rainbow appeared, Noah and his family remembered God’s faithful covenant love.
